Dakota captured fresh allocator mandates entering the pipeline in February totaling $2.5B, along with $3.5B of alternatives pacing plan disclosures across private equity, private credit, real estate, and real assets.
Among the 17 new searches are several sizable international mandates, including French pension ERAFP’s €1B ($1.18B) multi-asset fund-of-funds mandate due March 16, while the UK’s NEST pension opened a $355M ethical fund search until March 13. The City of Holyoke Retirement Board also issued separate searches seeking US small cap value and core strategies for $15M each, in RFPs that closed on March 6.
Alongside the search activity, 10 US public pensions outlined private markets pacing plans, of which approximately $1.5B represented target commitments to private equity, $930M to private credit, $623M to real assets, and $498M to real estate.
