VSS Capital Partners announced that it has received a strategic minority investment from Pinnacle Investment Management and promoted four executives within the firm to partner, where they will join the leadership team and become shareholders in the firm.
The New York-based firm specializes in investments in the healthcare, education, and business services sectors. It said the investment from Pinnacle will allow it access Pinnacle’s global distribution platform and extend the firm’s private markets offering to build the client base globally. It will also support VSS in introducing new products that complement its core Structured Capital Funds strategy.
In tandem with the announcement of Pinnacle’s investment, VSS said it has elevated Trent Hickman, Patrick Turner, Andrew Goscinski, and David Fann to partner. Hickman will take the title of co-managing partner and assume the additional responsibility of co-managing the next VSS Structured Capital Fund with Jeffrey Stevenson. Turner and Gosicki assume the titles of senior managing director, while David Fann will remain a senior managing director.
