UChicago’s Booth Launches Family Office Initiative

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business announced that it has opened a program that would provide educational, research, and network support to current and future family offices leaders.

In an October 9 press release, Chicago Booth said its “Family Office Initiative” was developed to provide support through business-faculty-backed research insights in response to industry needs, with family offices representing $1.7T in AUM in North America alone.

On the academic side, the program will facilitate events and curriculum updates for its MBA students and executive education participants, while a “Family Office Summit” is expected to take place in May 2025.
