True North to Cross $4B Mark With Clear Rock Acquisition

Dallas-based RIA True North Advisors announced September 19 that it has acquired Texas wealth and investment manager Clear Rock Advisors.

With offices in Dallas and Kerrville, Clear Rock manages approximately $470M in assets, which it will add to True North’s $3.9B in assets under management (AUM) as of August 31. True North said Clear Rock will further strengthen its presence in the rapidly growing Texas market.

Terms of the deal, which closed September 17, were not disclosed. Marsh Berry represented Clear Rock in the transaction.
