Texas TRS Commits $499M to Alts

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has disclosed four new alternative investments totaling up to $499 million.

$150 million was committed to the Blackstone Real Estate Europe VII fund.

$99 million was committed to EnCap Agamar, an opportunistic fund.

$150 million was committed to Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI.

$100 million was committed to Formentera Partners Fund II, an energy fund.
