Saudi Pension Hassana Commits $500M to Brookfield Middle East Partners Fund

Hassana Investment Company announced a $500M commitment to Brookfield Middle East Partners (BMEP), a private equity fund focused on middle-market buyouts, per an October 31 press release. As an anchor investor, Hassana’s substantial investment complements Brookfield’s own $500M commitment to the fund.

BMEP aims to raise a minimum of $2B, with Brookfield and Hassana each committing up to $500M. The fund will focus on buyouts, structured solutions, and other investment opportunities across sectors such as industrials, consumer and business services, technology, and healthcare.

According to Dakota data, Hassana oversees approximately $320B in assets, positioning it as one of the region's leading institutional investors.
