SageSpring Wealth Partners has named Winston Justice, who following his retirement as an offensive lineman in the National Football League moved into wealth management, as the new CEO of SageSpring Private Wealth.
Winston was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006 and went on to play seven seasons in the NFL, including stops with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, before hanging up his spikes and joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015. He went on to work as a portfolio manager in PIA’s alternative investments group before joining AllianceBernstein, where he spent the past five years managing assets for small and midsize institutions and family offices.
In his new role at Tennessee-based SageSpring, Justice will be charged with developing alternative investment solutions and helping the firm expand into multifamily office and institutional business lines. He will report to SageSpring founder and President Jeff Dobyns.
