James Jesse, the president of San Francisco multi-family-office Iconiq Capital, which counts tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Doresey amongst its clients, has reportedly left the firm, according to a report by Citywire.
Jesse joined the firm as president in April 2017 following 16 years at Morgan Stanley. He joined the wirehouse in June 2000 as an associate in the fixed income division before eventually taking on positions that included CIO and global head of international wealth management. Jesse’s departure is yet to be officially confirmed by Iconiq, but Citywire reportedly received an automatic email reply stating that he is “no longer with Iconiq Capital.”
