Report: Natixis Hires Former Morgan Stanley Exec to Head Asia Wealth

Natixis Investment Managers recruited former Morgan Stanley executive Johan Lim as regional head of its wealth business in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Southeast Asia, according to a December 18 report from Citywire Asia.

Lim joins the firm to oversee the $1.4T wholesale distribution teams in Hong Kong and Singapore and will be reporting to Natixis IM Singapore CEO Dora Seow, the publication reported. He has more than two decades of wealth management experience in APAC and most recently served as executive director for Morgan Stanley Investment Management in Singapore. Prior to his stint at MSIM, he worked for CIMB Group in Malaysia.
