Fidelity Investments has appointed Kimberly Sheehy as the new head of its largest family office group, Forge Community, according to a December 18 report from Bloomberg.
Sheehy will lead Fidelity’s Communities Center of Excellence Division, which is composed of Forge Community for family office professionals and Finteract for financial advisors. Before assuming overall leadership, Sheehy had been head of Finteract since January, joining from B2B community manager Pavilion. She replaces Jennifer Richardson, who left the role in October, as previously reported by Dakota, citing a desire by parent Fidelity to “go in a different strategic direction with the leadership of Community.”
Started by Fidelity in 2011, Forge is among the largest family office networks with more than 2,000 members, bringing together US family office executives serving single-family clients.
