Impact investment firm Conservation Resources netted $80M in initial capital commitments on the first close of its Forest Fund VII, according to an October 14 report by Agri Investor.
Fund VII’s first close, committed by a European institutional investor, represents a 41% increase from the amount received by its predecessor and fund, which closed at $47M from 49 limited partners. Fund VII targets raising $250M on its final close, with the goal of generating investor returns within a mid-to-high single-digit range, Conservation Resources told Agri Investor.
To date, Exeter, NH-based Conservation Resources said it has deployed over $1.2B in real asset investments, with focus on long-term financial and environmental impact.
