Report: Commonwealth Launches New Fee-Only Platform to Spur RIA Affiliation

Commonwealth Financial Network is providing a fee-only platform that will offer advisors a new way to affiliate with the independent broker-dealer and RIA, according to an October 28 report from Financial Advisor IQ.

The Continuum channel is set to start its operations in November and will be a regulated entity registered to the SEC, allowing investment advisor representatives to affiliate with its corporate RIA while also acting as a service provider for Form ADV filers.

From the start, Continuum will leverage Orion Advisor Solutions and Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management Services but aims to recruit more custodians as the platform expands.
