Report: Apollo to Double APAC Private Wealth Headcount

Apollo Global Management plans to significantly expand its advisor base in the Asia-Pacific region, in line with its strategy to attract more wealthy clients in the region, according to a November 3 report by Bloomberg. 

Edward Moon, head of global wealth management in APAC for Apollo, told Bloomberg that the hiring will mostly take place in Japan, Korea, and Australia. The firm will also establish teams in Singapore and Hong Kong. Since Apollo established its private wealth operation in the region in 2022, it has raised nearly $5B from high-net-worth investors, Moon said.
