RBC Wealth Management will implement structural changes in its private client group and reshuffle certain executives in support of that effort, according to a September 30 press release.
Effective November 1, the firm will split its West division in two, adding the newly formed “Mountain South” division, which will be led by the current West Divisional Director Darryl Traweek. The move will bring the total divisions to four, redrawing the West division into 34 branches across three of the firm’s complexes in Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada.
Current Pacific Northwest Complex Director Colin Hawkes will become the new divisional director for the revamped West. Together with Traweek and fellow divisional directors Wally Chapman for Central and Pat Vaughan for East, Hawkes will be expected to boost FA recruitment on top of growth initiatives for the Private Client Group.
RBC Wealth Management has over 2,100 advisors across 42 US states. As of July 31, the RIA said it manages $619B in total client assets.
