RayJay Lures Indiana Baird FA Team

Raymond James has added Schmidt Wealth Advisors to its employee channel from Baird, where they managed over $290 million in client assets. The team is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and includes advisors Jacob Schmidt, Daniel Schmidt, and Matthew Schmidt, along with support staff Jennifer Taylor and Kristina Stuller. They provide services to business owners, individuals, families, pre-retirees, and retirees.

The team was attracted to Raymond James for its welcoming culture and high level of independence.

Jacob Schmidt has been in the industry since 1981, starting with Merrill Lynch, and has also been registered with firms like Shearson Lehman Hutton, Roney & Co., Stifel Financial, and J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons. Daniel and Matthew Schmidt both began their careers at J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. They later joined Baird in 2019 before making the move to Raymond James.
