Philly Pension Board Commits $25M to Private Equity

The City of Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement approved the commitment of $25 million to a private equity co-investment fund managed by Franklin Park.

$25 million was allocated to Franklin Park Co-Investment Fund VI. 

As of May 31, 2024, the Retirement Fund has a market value of $8.4 billion, allocating 9.9% to Private Equity.

Investment consultant Marquette assisted with the recommendation.
