NewEdge Wealth has expanded by adding a four-person advisory team from Morgan Stanley in Allentown, Pennsylvania, led by principal and private wealth advisor Paul Emrick. The team, known as The Emrick Group, managed $514 million in client assets as of last year and officially joined NewEdge on August 16. The team has selected Goldman Sachs as their primary custodian.

Emrick previously led a Private Wealth Management team at Morgan Stanley and has held senior roles at JP Morgan Private Bank and MFP Strategies. Before his financial services career, Emrick served in the U.S. Army as a field artillery officer with the 3rd Infantry Division in Germany. Mongon joined Morgan Stanley in 2018 after managing Lehigh University’s $1.6 billion endowment fund and serving as a Senior Consultant and Director of Investment Research for MFP Strategies.
NewEdge Wealth, headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, was established in December 2020 and has rapidly expanded to 13 offices across the U.S., including in major cities like Atlanta, Miami, Nashville, and San Francisco.
