Morgan Stanley loses Raleigh (NC) FA to Wells Fargo

Willard Varnum has joined Wells Fargo Advisors as senior financial advisor and managing director after more than 30 years with Morgan Stanley, according to a recent LinkedIn post.

Varnum manages over $185M in client assets, according to a report by Financial Advisor IQ. According to his LinkedIn profile, Varnum previously served as senior vice president, wealth advisor, and global sports and entertainment director at Morgan Stanley, which he joined in July 1994. He is based in Raleigh, NC.

Varnum’s addition comes on the heels of Wells Fargo’s recruitment on September 12 of California-based financial advisor Barak Raviv, also formerly with Morgan Stanley, as previously reported by Dakota.
