LPL Financial announced that Walpole, MA-based veteran advisor Christopher Ketchen has joined the firm’s Linsco employee advisor channel from UBS, where he reportedly managed $315M in client assets.
Ketchen has more than 25 years of advisory experience, according to BrokerCheck, most recently serving as a senior vice president in wealth management at UBS, where he spent over 11 years. Prior to that, he had stints at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup Global Markets totaling over 15 years. At LPL, he will launch Katama Wealth Partners and be joined by senior client associate Courtney Poole.
LPL has been actively recruiting for its Linsco channel. Ketchen is the first East Coast hire for 2025 and closely follows the recruitment of Southern California advisor Marcus S. Alexander, as reported by Dakota on January 13.
