LPL Names Managing Director for Business Strategy

LPL Financial announced the promotion of executive vice president Marc Cohen to managing director of business strategy and innovation.

In the new role, Cohen will oversee development of the firm’s corporate strategy. He will be responsible for leading the business line and affiliation strategy for independent advisors, large enterprises, and institutional channels.

Cohen first joined LPL in 2018 from MarketCounsel, charged with helping to expand the firm’s new advisor affiliation model. He then transitioned to leading corporate strategy, where he actively developed partnerships to enhance LPL's support for advisors throughout their careers, including the firm's advisor succession program.
