LPL Names Cybersecurity Expert as Chief Information Security Officer

LPL Financial has appointed cross-sector cybersecurity expert Renana Friedlich as its new chief information security officer (CISO).

Friedlich brings over two decades of experience in security solutions and has sat as an advisory board member to the security councils of Google and Microsoft. Most recently, she served as global head of cyber threat management at PayPal, leading a team of over 120 security experts.

As CISO for LPL, Friedlich will be responsible for the cybersecurity protection of the firm’s IT infrastructure.
