LPL Financial has welcomed Wealthstead Financial Advisors, an Atlanta-based advisory team, to its broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, and custodial platforms. Wealthstead, which manages over $615 million in assets, transitioned from Lincoln Financial's wealth unit, recently acquired by Osaic Wealth. The team, led by managing partner Jason Walker, includes partners Vladimir Nikitenko, H. Scott Braswell, Rosty Tkachenko, and John Hydrick.
Wealthstead Financial, which has been operational since 1975, provides financial planning and investment advice with a focus on retirement income planning and portfolio management for mass-affluent families, executives, and business owners. The firm is aligned with Integrated Financial Group (IFG), an LPL affiliate since 2011.
Walker, who began his career in 2006, joined Lincoln in 2007 after a brief stint at FSC Securities Corp. The other partners have varied backgrounds in the financial industry, with Nikitenko, Braswell, Tkachenko, and Hydrick bringing years of experience from firms such as Scottrade, Valic Financial Advisors, and First Union Brokerage Services.
