London’s Urbium Capital Makes First Close on Private RE Fund

London-based real estate private equity firm Urbium Capital said it has made a successful first close on its Urbium Living Fund I, a residential strategy targeting student and senior living opportunities in London and select UK regional markets.

Urbium did not disclose the amount of capital raised to date in an October 4 press release announcing the first close. The firm said the inaugural close will fund the development of a student housing scheme in York, UK, representing Fund I’s first project.
