The Lexington Policemen's and Firefighters' Pension Plan has selected a new manager in the conclusion of a search to fulfill its real estate mandate.
In the pension’s November 13 meeting minutes, the board approved a motion to hire LaSalle Property as its new real estate manager. Clarion and Principal were also considered during the search. Dakota first reported in March that the Kentucky-based retirement system was preparing the search following a full redemption of JP Morgan Strategic Property Fund, as recommended by consultant Callan.
The Lexington Police and Fire pension said it manages $997.2M in total fund assets as of the third quarter.
