Laredo Firefighters' Commits $2M to Private Equity

The Laredo Firefighters’ Retirement System approved a $2 million commitment to Berkshire partners XI, according to recent meeting minutes.

Berkshire Partners is a multi-sector investor with teams dedicated to sectors including consumer, healthcare, services & industrials, and technology & communications.

The Fidelity 500 Index Fund will provide funding for the approved allocation.
