Kentucky TRS Allocates $120M in Private Equity and Real Estate

The Kentucky Teachers Retirement System has approved two commitments to Private Equity and Real Estate totaling $120 million, according to materials from the June 17th Board meeting. 

In private equity, $60 million was committed to Audax Strategic Capital Private Equity Solutions. 

And in real estate, $60 million was committed to Carlyle Realty Partners X. 

As of March 31, 2024, the Kentucky TRS was valued at $25.7 billion. Approximately 6.5% is allocated to real estate with a target of 7% and approximately 8% to alternative investments with a target of 7%.
