The Kansas Public Employees’ Retirement System has approved a commitment of $90 million to Platinum Equity Small Cap Fund II.
Platinum Equity has over $48 billion under management and focuses on North American and European companies in the lower middle market.
As of December 31, 2023, the $27 million pension fund allocates approximately 10.8% to alternatives with a target of 11%.
