Hypha Private Equity Raises £73M on Maiden Fund First Close

UK private equity fund Hypha has secured £73M (~$94.7M) in initial capital commitments at the first close of its inaugural Hypha I LP fund.

According to an October 24 press release by the fund’s advisor, Langham Hall, the maiden Hypha fund will invest in UK- and Ireland-based, founder-owned companies in healthcare, technology, and manufacturing. Its first close represents 70% commitments reached of its £100M (~$129.7M) target. 

The fund was registered on June 4 and will target buyout and growth capital investments in high-potential, middle-market SMEs.
