UK-based, £62.2B AUM wealth management firm Evelyn Partners has reportedly hired industry veteran Matthew Spencer to lead its push to grow business from independent financial advisors, according to a December 4 report from Citywire.
Spencer, who founded his own wealth consultancy, Mycelium Strategy, just last year and previously served as managing director at Close Brothers Asset Management replaced Craig Wright, who is returning to Australia in 2025, the publication reported. At Evelyn, Spencer will report to Chris Kenny who is chief investment management director.
