Emissary Names Fmr ExxonMobil Counsel as Chairman, Promotes FO Principal

Emissary Partners, a global special situations advisory firm for family offices, said November 18 that it appointed Andrew Clarke as chairman and promoted J. Peter Donald to principal from senior advisor.

Prior to joining Emissary Partners as senior advisor in 2023, Clarke was general counsel at ExxonMobil International. He served as principal legal advisor for the energy company's global liquefied natural gas business.

Donald has been serving as senior advisor at the firm since 2020, specializing in crisis management, strategic communications, and reputation management. He was previously assistant commissioner for public affairs at the New York Police Department.
