Corbel Makes $200M in Equity Fund III Final Close

Corbel Capital Partners reeled in commitments of over $200M at the closing of its lower-middle-market strategy Corbel Equity Partners SBIC (CEP) III, according to an October 16 press release.

CEP III will offer growth and buyout investments by deploying $10M to $25M in equity capital for portfolio companies under $20M in EBITDA. The fund represents a partnership with the US Small Business Administration (SBA) for its new government-backed equity accrual fund program, and is Corbel’s third license from the SBA.

To date, Los Angeles-based Corbel said it manages over $1B in total assets across multiple funds and has made more than 50 investments.
