Colorado Fire & Police Commits $105M to PE, PC Funds

The Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association said it invested in four funds for a total of $105M in private capital transactions throughout October, according to materials related to its board meeting on December 12.

Of the four funds, Colorado Fire & Police allocated to three private equity growth funds: $25M to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund XII; $35M to Cynosure Partners III; and $20M to Periscope Equity III. The pension also committed $25M to opportunistic private credit fund Blue Torch Credit Opportunities IV. Per Dakota data, Colorado Fire & Police has made previous investments in predecessors of the Summit, Periscope, and Blue Torch funds. 

The state pension oversees approximately $7B in aggregate assets, according to Dakota data.
