Blue Owl Capital Names Private Wealth Head for Japan

Alternative asset manager Blue Owl Capital said it appointed Yoichi Nakamura as a managing director and head of private wealth for Japan.

Nakamura served as Algebris Investments' Japan CEO prior to the appointment. He will report to Johann Santer, head of Asia Pacific private wealth at Blue Owl.

Blue Owl, which managed $235B of assets as at the end of the third quarter of 2024, offers private wealth services through its credit, GP strategic capital, and real estate investment platforms. It said Nakamura's appointment affirms its commitment to serving the largest securities companies and wealth managers in Japan.
