Blue Earth Capital's maiden evergreen, semi-liquid impact private credit strategy fund has made a first close, raising $113M, the firm announced on December 3.
The fund, which aims to support environmental and social impact initiatives, will target private credit investments in developed and emerging markets. Switzerland-based Blue Earth said it achieved the first close in October.
Anchor investors of the fund include family offices and an unnamed large pension fund, the specialist global impact investor said. It added that the fund has already made an unspecified number of seed investments.
