Wealth management, investment management, and insurance solutions firm Berthel Fisher has appointed veteran financial advisor Dan Meehan as vice president of recruiting.
Meehan moves to the Cedar Rapids, IA-based firm from Arete Wealth, where he served as vice president for business development. With over 30 years of industry experience, he has held multiple positions in business development, recruiting, and financial advisory services for several firms, including Merrill Lynch, Raymond James, Prudential, and TD Ameritrade.
As recruiting VP, Meehan will be responsible for driving organic growth within the company through recruiting efforts and facilitating acquisitions while maintaining employee retention. He is based in Alpharetta, GA, and will report to Berthel Fisher business development head Paige Swartzendruber.
