Arlington County Allocates $40M to Private Equity

Minutes from the March 7th Arlington County Employees Retirement System’s board of trustees meeting revealed two commitments to private equity worth a total of $40 million. 

A motion was carried to allocate $20 million to Enlightenment V, managed by Enlightenment Capital. 

Also approved was a $20 million was allocated to Franklin Park Co-invest Fund VI, a private equity co-investment fund managed by Franklin Park. 

As of December 31, 2023, the Retirement Fund was valued at $3.1 billion, allocating 10.9% to alternative investments.
