Aristotle Pacific Names New Credit Research Head, Portfolio Manager

Aristotle Pacific Capital said that it has appointed Ivor Schucking and Jeffrey Klingelhofer as managing directors, with Shucking to head credit research and Klingelhofer serving as a portfolio manager.

Schucking brings more than three decades of experience to his new role. Prior to joining Aristotle, he served as global head of financials credit research at Western Asset Management and before that head of global credit research at PIMCO.

Klingelhofer joins Aristotle from Thornburg Investment Management, where he oversaw the firm’s fixed-income strategies and led its securitized investment initiatives. At Aristotle pacific he will be portfolio manager for the firm’s Credit Opportunities strategy, which focuses on higher-spread credit and scrutinized investments.

Founded in 2010, Aristotle manages approximately $104B in assets across equity and fixed income capabilities. Since the start of 2024, Aristotle Pacific, the firm’s RIA credit specialist unit, has increased its AUM by 21% to $29.9B.
