Ameriprise Names SVP for Experienced Advisor Recruiting

Ameriprise Financial has promoted a tenured regional leader as senior vice president to lead strategy in driving recruitment for experienced financial advisors.

Brian Mora has been with Ameriprise since September 2001, first joining as personal financial advisor and going on to hold multiple leadership positions within the firm, including as senior franchise field vice president and most recently as regional vice president. Mora will report to Ameriprise Advisor and Financial Institutions President Pat O’Connell.

Ameriprise said it has recruited approximately 1,700 financial advisors in the last five years, with over 400 advisors transitioning to the firm in 2023 alone. Overall, Ameriprise housed a network of approximately 10,000 advisors as of the end of the second quarter.
