$7B RIA Procyon Partners Creates New Expansion-focused Biz Dev Role

Procyon Partners said it has appointed veteran advisor recruiter Rich Franchella to the newly created position of senior vice president for business development, where he will focus on the firm’s expansion.

Franchella has more than two decades of experience in banking and advisor recruitment. For his new role, he will be charged with recruiting high quality firms and advisors in private wealth, institutional consulting, and risk management. Franchella will report directly to Chief Revenue Officer Harry Kirkpatrick and operate from the firm’s Fulton, MD, office.

Prior to joining Procyon, Franchella served as advisor recruiter at Baird, sales manager at Wedbush, a managing director and advisor at Morgan Stanley and RBC, and director for national sales at Prudential. He started his career as a financial advisor at Merrill.
