Tim Brown is Chief Strategist and Chief Financial Officer for Dakota. He joined Dakota in April 2018 with more than 15 years of experience in strategy, finance, and entrepreneurial practice.
Tim has always been passionate about achieving better results for clients. In fact, Tim’s background in delivering sustainable success for his clients positions him well to lead efforts in setting strategy, negotiating contracts with partners and vendors, and managing the financial operations for Dakota.
Prior to joining Dakota, Tim held positions with some of the world’s most recognized institutions, including Bain & Co., where he served as a Consultant; Ernst & Young, where he served as an Auditor; and a renewable technology startup where he was Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Carroll School of Management, Boston College, and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
