Verdence is a private wealth advisory and multi-family office firm headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, with offices in Northern Virginia and Los Angeles. Managing approximately $3 billion in mainly HNW client assets. The group spun out of HighTower Advisors and rebranded Verdence Capital (prior Kelly Wealth Management) back in 2017. Leo Kelly leads the group and Matt Andrulot is the Executive Director of Investment Strategy responsible for designing and implementing Verdence's investment approach. They have built out their own internal UMA platform with trading capabilities so where a strategy ports well into the model delivery format, this will be a good opportunity. They have also raised capital to acquire other RIAs. Long term growth plan includes acquisitions and they have aspirations to leverage the UMA platform they built and package their manager research to build a Fortigent like offering for other RIAs. Matt Andrulot was ex-Fortigent. A new initiative of theirs is building out their OCIO program where they are looking to tap intro the institutional world.
