TIAA Kaspick manages assets for approximately 120 clients with approx. 6500 accounts (trusts/charitable giving). TIAA Kaspick only manages assets via mutual fund models (no LPs/private investments or SMAs) which range from 8 different strategic asset allocations from aggressive all equity to all fixed income.
Historically, have had a value tilt and are very fee conscious. In total they use roughly 20 strategies across 10 fund families. While they have a bias to large asset managers (DFA, Vanguard, PIMCO), they do consider boutiques as appropriate based on their needs. Opportunities/portfolio changes are few and far between, but allocations can be quite large, well over $100M potential. Matt Turcotte is a lead analyst in Boston to meet with and needs direct access to PM's over time.
