$6B RIA in Portland Maine. The firm is currently evolving from a proprietary stock and bond firm to a full service RIA/MFO. This has resulted in changes and potential opportunities for external managers. Large Cap Equity (stock selection in house) and laddered bond portfolios are currently the predominant assets at the firm. HM Payson has created an internal LP to access a suite of private equity managers. This was recently launched in 2019. HM Payson is building out external managers in areas that compliment the in-house stock and bond portfolios. They have exposure to external managers in Interational Developed and Emerging Market equities.
