Below are the top 10 communication service transactions.
Verizon closed its previously announced agreement to acquire a portion of Array Digital Infrastructure's retained spectrum licenses for $1.0 billion, part of Array's broader effort to monetize remaining spectrum following its earlier sale of the T-Mobile wireless operation. Array separately completed $168 million in spectrum sales to T-Mobile in May, and used proceeds from these transactions to declare an $11.00 per share special dividend, payable June 25, 2026.
Wiley acquired Emerald Publishing Limited from Cambridge Information Group in an all-cash deal valued at $452 million, expanding Wiley's journal portfolio to approximately 2,500 titles and establishing it as a leader in social sciences publishing across economics, business, and finance. The acquisition also deepens Wiley's proprietary content position for AI and data analytics applications, with expected annual run-rate cost synergies of approximately $30 million by year three.
Netflix completed its acquisition of Radford Studio Center, the historic Studio City production lot, for close to $400 million, a steep discount to the $1.85 billion Hackman Capital Partners paid for the property in 2021. The seller was a group of lenders led by Goldman Sachs, which took control of the 55-acre lot after Hackman defaulted on a $1.1 billion mortgage earlier in 2026. The deal gives Netflix a permanently owned production hub in Los Angeles, a notable shift for a company that has long leased its studio space, at a site that has hosted decades of television productions including Seinfeld and Gunsmoke.
Suno, an AI music creation platform, raised over $400 million in Series D funding at a $5.4 billion post-money valuation, led by Bond Capital with participation from IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, and existing investors. The capital will support Suno's next music model developed in partnership with the music industry, aimed at creating new experiences for fans while helping artists build community and unlock new economic opportunities.
Telenor agreed to acquire Enivest, one of the leading fibre operators in Western Norway, for NOK 2.5 billion, gaining Enivest's fibre network, approximately 28,000 customers, and a 34% stake in Årdalsnett. The deal strengthens Telenor's scale in the fragmented Norwegian broadband market and is expected to close in 2026, subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority.
Google DeepMind and A24 announced a first-of-its-kind research partnership pairing DeepMind's AI research capabilities with A24's filmmaker-driven creative process, alongside an undisclosed investment by Google in A24. The multi-project collaboration aims to develop new creative workflows and tools shaped directly by filmmakers, expanding storytelling possibilities as the partnership evolves over time.
Richard Roths Media secured a $52 million investment from London-based GGC Capital Investment Group to accelerate development of its AI-driven Trust-Driven Performance Marketing System for high-trust industries including banking, healthcare, and legal services. The funding will expand the company's engineering and data science teams and support U.S. and international market expansion throughout 2026.
Dapple, an AI infrastructure operating system provider, closed a $30 million seed funding round backed by The Raptor Group and Ion Pacific, five months after launching its Enterprise OS Cloud platform for dedicated, single-tenant AI deployments. The company has secured more than $100 million in customer contracts to date, and the capital will accelerate global deployment of its in-country, governed infrastructure offering.
Attention, an AI platform for revenue teams, raised a $30 million Series B led by RTP Global, with participation from returning investors Aglaé Ventures, Eniac, and Alven, new investor Linea Ventures, and angel investors drawn from its customer base. The funding will expand Attention's agentic offering and support its move upmarket into enterprise revenue organizations, following annual recurring revenue growth of 4x year over year.
Invisible Narratives secured long-term capital partnerships with Verance Capital and funds managed by BC Partners Credit, including an initial $25 million investment tied to the company's majority acquisition of viral YouTube franchise Skibidi Toilet, which has grown to more than 47 million subscribers and 20 billion views. BC Partners Credit envisions deploying more than $300 million of capital into the creator economy through the Invisible Narratives platform to help the "tradigital" studio acquire additional IP and scale creator-led franchises.
