It is one of the first questions firms ask when they start evaluating Dakota Marketplace.
You have already invested in a CRM. Your team is using it every day. The last thing you want is another platform that lives in a separate tab, requires manual updates, and slowly gets ignored because it does not fit into how your team actually works.
We hear this all the time, and it is exactly why we built our integration suite the way we did.
In this article, we will walk through every CRM Dakota Marketplace integrates with, how each integration works, and what your team can expect from setup through day-to-day use.
We integrate with a wide range of CRMs used by investment firms, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Intapp DealCloud, Dynamo, Backstop, Altvia, Satuit, Microsoft Dynamics, and Snowflake.
If your firm is using one of these platforms, our integration brings Dakota's real-time data directly into your existing CRM instance without requiring your team to toggle between tools.
Regardless of which CRM you are using, all of our integrations follow the same core logic. You connect Dakota Marketplace to your CRM, link your existing records to their Dakota counterparts, and from that point forward your data stays current automatically. No manual updates. No copy-pasting. No stale records.
There are two ways to bring data into your CRM through any of our integrations:
Linking connects an existing CRM record to its matching record in Dakota Marketplace. Your existing record stays exactly as it is. Our data flows in alongside it, enriching what you already have without overriding a single field your team has entered.
Creating builds a brand new CRM record directly from Dakota Marketplace. It is the right move when an account or contact does not yet exist in your CRM and you want to add it with our data already attached from the start.
The rule of thumb across every integration is the same: always try linking before creating. Defaulting to creating when you are unsure is how duplicate records build up over time, and duplicates are one of the fastest ways to lose your team's trust in a CRM.
Our Salesforce integration is our most established, with over 200 investment firms currently using it. It is a managed package available on the Salesforce AppExchange, which means setup is significantly more streamlined than a custom build. Your team downloads it from the Salesforce App Store and can be up and running in a matter of days.
What makes our Salesforce integration unique is how deeply it embeds into your existing Salesforce instance. The Metro Areas tab brings our full city scheduling intelligence directly into Salesforce. The follow feature sends email notifications whenever we update a record your team is tracking. And the Marketplace Updates log gives your team a full audit trail of every data change we make. For firms that run their entire sales operation out of Salesforce, this is the integration that makes Dakota feel like a native part of the platform.
Our HubSpot integration is built for firms that use HubSpot to manage outreach, run email campaigns, and track customer interactions. It runs from within Dakota Marketplace through the Data Integrations tab, where your team can link existing records and create new ones in bulk.
One of the things firms appreciate most about our HubSpot integration is the bespoke data package system. Rather than flooding your HubSpot with every piece of data we have, we work with your team to select exactly which data sets are relevant to your strategy. What comes in is additive and clean, not disruptive. Our data maps either to custom Dakota fields or to your existing standard HubSpot fields, depending on how you prefer your CRM organized.
Not sure which integration is right for your firm? Let us help you figure it out!
Our DealCloud integration is built for the investment management and private equity firms that rely on Intapp DealCloud to manage relationships, track deals, and stay organized across complex networks of allocators and opportunities. Like our HubSpot integration, it runs from within Dakota Marketplace through the Data Integrations tab.
Once connected, a dedicated Dakota tab inside each DealCloud record houses all of our data: account details, investment preferences, contact information, and the descriptions written by our investment sales team that give your team context before every call. Everything stays up to date in real time, and our data sits alongside your existing DealCloud fields without overriding anything.
In addition to Salesforce, HubSpot, and DealCloud, we also integrate with a number of other platforms commonly used by investment firms. If your team is using Dynamo, Altvia, Satuit, Backstop, Microsoft Dynamics, or Snowflake, we can bring Dakota's real-time allocator data directly into your existing instance. The same core logic applies across every integration: link your existing records, create new ones where needed, and let us keep everything current automatically from there.
If your CRM is not on this list, reach out to our team. We are continuously expanding our integration suite and may already be working on a connection for your platform.
Across every CRM we integrate with, a few things stay consistent.
Pricing for all of our CRM integrations is custom for every firm. The two factors that drive the number are which data sets you want in your CRM and how many users will be accessing those data sets.
If your firm does not need certain allocator types or geographies, you are not priced for them. You can learn more about our data packages and set up time with our team on our integrations page.
If your team is already using a CRM and spending time manually updating records, copying data between platforms, or working from information that is months out of date, our integration suite is built to solve exactly that. The right integration depends on which platform your team already uses and how your firm wants to configure the data package.
