W.K. Kellogg Foundation Appoints Four New VPs, Adds to Leadership Team

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) announced the appointment of four new VPs in newly established roles who will also join the foundation’s leadership team.  

In a November 4 press release, WKKF said Dr. Felicia DeHaney Russell joins as its new VP for strategy, Miriam Calderon as VP for impact, Sarah Takatani as VP for technology and integrated services, and Roshell Rinkins as VP for transformation and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to her new role, DeHaney Russell served as the foundation’s director of education and learning for five years. She also served as president and CEO of the National Black Child Development Institute in Washington, DC, for 2 years. In her new role, she will lead the foundation’s national and international grantmaking portfolio.

Calderon will oversee program portfolios that will support knowledge and learning as well as develop impact investing and policy advocacy. As the head of the foundation’s systems, data, cybersecurity and workplace environments, Takani is charged with enhancing and safeguarding the foundation through human-centered design, AI augmentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Rinkins will oversee business processes reengineering and organizational performance initiatives. She will lead the staff in organization-wide strategic development and process improvement protocols as well as the foundation’s racial equity and community engagement grantmaking portfolio.
