Singapore-based venture capital firm Tanglin Venture Partners is aiming to raise $250M for its third flagship fund, according to a January 27 filing with the SEC.
Tanglin Venture Fund III has yet to book its first sale, and the firm indicated it expects fundraising to last more than a year. Tanglin has secured the assistance of Marcena Capital and Alpine Capital Advisors in marketing the fund both in the US and internationally.
Tanglin Venture Partners primarily invests in series A fundraisings, with an allocation of up to $8M for every transaction. Across two funds to date, it manages a combined $250M in assets. The firm's portfolio includes Pocket FM, Credgenics, Moglix, Lifelong, Sugar.fit, Good Flippin' Burgers and abCoffee.
