Singapore's state-owned investment firm Temasek announced the formation of a private credit platform with an initial portfolio of S$10B (~$7.45B).
Temasek said the platform will function separately from its asset management business Sevoria Group. It expects the new platform to improve its capacity to scale its credit and hybrid solutions portfolio and target private credit opportunities around the world.
The platform's initial portfolio will comprise direct investments and credit funds. Temasek's Head of Credit and Hybrid Solutions Nicolas Debetencourt will oversee the portfolio as CEO along with a team of 15 credit investment professionals across offices in New York, London, and Singapore.
