Sanctuary Wealth has welcomed a new advisor team, TOVA Wealth, from Merrill Lynch, bringing $400 million in client assets. The team, based in Wilmington, North Carolina, includes advisors Katie Medina, Michael Tunney, and Eric Starkey, along with Client Associate Amy Kepler.
Katie Medina, who started in the industry in 2007 with AXA Advisors before moving to Merrill in 2008, previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Cape Verde Islands. Michael Tunney, with experience dating back to 1997, has worked with several firms, including Citigroup Global Markets and Edward Jones, and is dedicated to helping individuals define and achieve their financial goals. Eric Starkey, who joined Merrill in 2016, focuses on strategic model portfolios and stock selection, bringing a methodical approach to research. Starkey, a second-generation advisor, has a deep appreciation for the impact of investing and the role of financial advisors.
The team’s move to Sanctuary Wealth allows them to continue their personalized approach to client service. TOVA Wealth’s alignment with Sanctuary Wealth is seen as a strategic fit, enhancing their ability to deliver tailored financial solutions.
