Report: Prudential Mulls Options for Singapore-based AM Biz

Prudential Plc is said to be considering options for its Singapore-based $271B asset manager Eastspring investments, according to a December 10 Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter.

Prudential is allegedly working with an advisor to review Eastspring assets in a deal that could value the operation at $3B. Another option for the firm is to sell 30% of Eastspring and form a strategic partnership, with the goal of any partnership being to enhance Eastspring's investment capabilities, particularly in areas like private credit and dollar-denominated assets.

Representatives from Prudential and Eastspring declined to comment on the matter to Bloomberg.
